To travel from Saudi Arabia to the USA each dog pet must have:
· Microchip, implanted on or before date of validating vaccinations
· Valid core vaccinations
· Valid rabies vaccination
· Treatment for internal and external parasite within 30 days of travel
- Screwworm Inspection
· Vet health certificate
· MEWA Export Health Certificate
· MEWA Export permit
- CDC Import Receipt in advance of travel
Please note your dog must have resided in Saudi Arabia for at least 6 months before arrival to the US. If you are transiting from another GCC country an RNATT may be required
All dogs MUST HAVE their own import form receipt. The owner (or person travelling if accompanied should apply).
The process can be completed any time prior to arriving but ideally you should apply 3 to 5 days before travel. If the arrival date changes, a new receipt would be required

Yes, your dog can fly into any airport as long as the CDC Import Receipt is valid for entry to that airport
Yes, but you must check with your airline to confirm they will accept your dog as accompanied baggage (i.e. added to your flight booking) on your specific flight(s).
Please check directly with the CDC centre at your relevant airport as not all airports will accommodate accompanied arrivals
Saudi Arabia has been removed from the list of high-risk countrie for rabies by the CDC, BUT many other GCC countrie are still listed as high-risk, so an RNATT will be required.
